These models accompany a 1/4" PE tubing filament feed setup for the Formbot T-Rex 2+. The caps are mirrored for application on the left and right extruders, and each accepts one 1/4" push-connect fitting in the top, via 1/8" NPT threads. A tapered tunnel extends down from the fitting and onto the board, to reliably guide filament for insertion. 1/4" tubing was chosen to allow loose, low friction travel for the filament. Bowden tubing forms a tighter restriction and produces drag on the filament. Buy the push-connect fittings here: https://www.mcmaster.com/#7880t145/=19b8sgv Work the fittings into the finished part slowly, backing out frequently to stretch and wear the two pieces together, as it is a tight fit. 100 micron layer height in PETG worked well, this part does require supports.
