A watch stand for my Fossil Gen 5 (Carlyle) although it may fit other models with the same charger size.

I've since confirmed this also fits the charger for the Fossil Gen 6.

This holds the watch angled 45 degrees forwards so should show the time up the right way.

The original charger base slots into the upper half and the USB lead feeds down to the lower right hand corner.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Monoprice

Printer:

Select Mini

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Infill:

20%

Notes:

No supports required if you print it with the vertical section lay flat on the bed.
There's some issues with the face normals in my model that highlight top surfaces in cura, but they print fine.
The cable guide was a little simple but keeps the usb lead secure without sharp corners.

My photo is a Fossil Carlyle Smoke Stainless Steel with a Fossil Brown Leather strap.

How I Designed This

I generated a vector image of the fossil logo with Adobe Illustrator and exported as SVG, then extruded this with an online web site called svg2stl. The STL imported into 3DS Max and scaled/rotated to sit on a flat face when printed correctly.

The main design is entirely basic shapes with boolean functions.

I did try placing the logo on the base or shelf but the angle of printing made it look scrappy.

Category: Other
