Foster Kittens!

On Wednesday night I brought home a litter of five foster kittens and their mom from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. Right now the babies are about 3-4 weeks old, are working on keeping their balance, and are starting to have lots of fun playing. They’re all scared of heights and being picked up, but they’re getting braver every day. The smallest is 14 oz. and the biggest is 1 lb., 1 oz. This model was made by taking a quick video with my iPhone, pulling frames out of it with VLC, and then putting the photos into RealityCapture. Not the world’s finest model, but quite possibly the best that I’ll ever get of five energetic kittens at once. Towards the end of the 50-second video they were getting wise to somebody watching them - eyes opening, ears perking up - and I stopped recording.
