Fountain Pen

Fountain Pen

This is a pen I designed a while ago, but was having trouble printing until I upgraded my printer and got PETG dialed in. This is designed to use Shaeffer nibs, and I used the (pictured) Shaeffer mini kit because it comes with 3 nibs and some ink, so you can make 3 pens. The tolerances are a little tight, but the nib will screw all the way on and the cap can close and post. The pictured print is in Prusa PETG with .15 layer height printed slowly and with Z seems aligned. This failed two times with only a skirt, because the surface area is so small, but printed fine with a brim which I then trimmed with an xacto knife. Orient both pieces vertically, support on build plate only for the cap.
