Four Christmas Ornaments

thingiverse

Here are Christmas ornaments based on propello polyhedra first described by George Hart. http://www.georgehart.com/propello/propello.html Coordinates for the polyhedra were downloaded from D.I. McCooey's "Visual Polyhedra" web site. The small ornament is based on a Propello Truncated Icosidodecahedron - http://dmccooey.com/polyhedra/PropelloTruncatedIcosidodecahedron.html - and the large ornament on what McCooey terms a derived solid - an Expanded Joined Hexpropello Dodecahedron - http://dmccooey.com/polyhedra/ExpandedJoinedHexpropelloDodecahedron.html - Wire frame versions and versions with some faces are included. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.3 Notes: Small plates were added to the bottom of the ornaments so that they can be printed without support.
