Fowler Flap V1

Fowler Flap V1

thingiverse

This is my first draft of a Fowler Flap design for RC aviation. The idea behind this flap is that it pushes the trailing edge of a wing outward and then down, increasing the wing surface area of the wing and causing large drag to slow the plane down before landing. It will add that extra bit of complexity and interest to any RC plane that you want to take to the next level. The connecting rods are segments of 2mm O.D. aluminum rod, and the brass pieces can be old brass nails, pins, or in may case, .81mm brass rods. Any feed back for improvements welcome.
