This is a scan of a beautiful pottery fox designed by Arthur Gredington while working for Beswick. It was first issued in 1945. I scanned this some time ago but wasn't sure about the copyright status. I think at the moment it is out of copyright as it has been mass produced and was first created more than 25 years ago but I am not a lawyer. Curiously, the law changes in 2020 meaning that it might enter copyright again but there is no undo on the Internet so I don't really know what this means for this scan. UPDATE: Several articles suggest that the clause relating to reduced protection for mass produced artworks was repealed on 28th July 2016 and that it is now illegal to "make" this in the UK and possibly other EU countries.
