Foxeer Monster Camera Spacer to Mount into Standard Width Frame

Foxeer Monster Camera Spacer to Mount into Standard Width Frame

I made this to fit my Monster camera into a Stingy or standard width frame mount. Added to the monster camera it brings the width to the standard 28mm needed to fit frames intended for mini size cameras. Uses 2 screws into the camera, 1 thru frame into the print. Fits 28mm mount perfect. Keep in mind, the rim around the holes at edge do NOT print as they are too small (at least for my printer) and are not needed. It ends up printing a sort of triangle. Attach screws into the camera first, then thru frame into the mount. Screw heads are recessed and set below print surface once installed. All screw holes are made for the ones that come with the Foxeer Monster and are M2 I believe. The single one used for the frame mount could be drilled out for a M3 if wanted. This fits a Monster v3 case, and Monster v2 case, however it may fit other Foxeer cases such as the Predator or Monster v1 - I just don't have any of these to verify. If they worked/didn't work on other models for you, please comment and let others know! Flip in slicing program so open recessed ends are facing up as pictured in the screen grab and not in the orientation pictured of the .stl preview. It will import upside down, just rotate. I simply mirrored the 1 file for a total of 2 objects. Not even sure its necessary, just did it out of habit and all works well.
