This is my mount for a cheap FPV ground station using a generic 7" LCD screen from ebay + my video receiver 5.8 ghz RC832 + a DVR. Then you can just connect everything to any tripod. The reason for this upgrade was to replace the original metallic mount accessory that comes with the screen. Once you start to add weight it becomes unstable and eventually cracks. To add the nut for the tripod I used a generic gopro tripod mount (super cheap on ebay) as a donor for the nut. Then drilled with a 10 mm bit a hole and then using hot air (480 degrees Celsius) I placed the nut against the plastic (the nut is just 1.5 mm bigger than the hole) and heated the nut while pushing it down gently with a screwdriver.
