FPV Groundstation in a Beauty Case

FPV Groundstation in a Beauty Case

This project is still in work! A while ago I built an antennatracker based on the open360tracker project using their original components (http://fpv-community.de/showthread.php?49179-open360tracker-Der-Community-Antennentracker-Made-in-Germany) But after having it in operation for some months, I got tired of the assembly and disassembly. Bolting it on a tripod, connecting separate battery, etc. and also the necessity of a separate transport case was very annoying. So I purchased a cheap beauty case, removed the foldable trays that were inside and designed a few new components. The top cover is supposed to be cut from 6mm plywood, the dome that carries the rotating part of the tracker from 4mm plywood. The other parts can be printed, but I have to say, that I had to do some manual rework before they fitted together nicely. Might be my printer, might be too small tolerances in design. Let me know, if you want it to be perfect, I can share my raw files. The target is to have an one-in-all groundstation that includes the tracker, a Li-Ion battery, video-splitter and a couple of output connectors which can be individually switched on and off, connectors for charger and external power supply (just in case...), low battery buzzer, etc. pp. and in the bottom a socket to just plug it on the spigot of a lighting stand.
