Ender-5 Belt Tensioners (X and Y axis)

Ender-5 Belt Tensioners (X and Y axis)

These are my remixes of the belt tensioner system for Ender-5. Basically, here are the modifications from the original design: - from 5 to only 2 parts - to be used with toothed idlers with inner diameter of 5mm - can be used even if you relocate your crossbar
Here is the BoM for each assembly: X Belt Tensioner: - 1x GT2 6mm toothed pulley with 5mm inner diameter - 2x M5x20mm allen screw - 2x M5 hex nut - 1x M5 washer - 2x M4 screws (stock) - 2x M4 T-nut (stock) - 1x M5 screw (stock)
Y Belt Tensioners: - 2x GT2 6mm toothed pulley with 5mm inner diameter - 4x M5x20mm allen screw - 4x M5 hex nut - 2x M5 washer - 2x M3x12mm allen screw - 2x M3 T-nut - 4x M4 screws (stock) - 4x M4 T-nut (stock) - 2x M5 screw (stock)
It is necessary some force to insert the pulley system into the outer structure and some flexibility from this part is highly necessary, so my suggestion is to print all parts in PLA+ os even in PETG. Avoid plain PLA. Print all parts in the same orientation of the STL files. This will guarantee the necessary strength to use the tensioners.
