I made some significant changes to the original design, but only broke up the lower frame into four sections so each arm can be replaced in case of a crash. This also allows the model to be printed on a much smaller bed than the one-piece original design. To add extra strength, I've incorporated three reinforcing supports that are countersunk into the frame and secured with M3 hardware. I'm confident that this revised design will be just as strong, if not stronger, than the original. Plans are already underway to print the model. The first STL file includes upper deck supports attached, while the second file separates them out so you can choose whether or not to use them - say, if you want to leave the upper deck entirely out of the design. Keep in mind that you'll need to run these parts through a slicer or similar program to break them up into separate pieces for printing.
