FR4 PCB Substrate for KiCad 3D Renderings: Simple models created to add a PCB substrate to KiCad 3D board renderings. These models help to eliminate the see through nature of present KiCad 3D board rendering abilities. I have uploaded one of my KiCad board designs with and without the substrate model with the copper pours filled and unfilled. These models are created with four clearance holes (0.13" diameter) for 4-40 screws with the centers located 0.12" from their respective corner's board edges. The board edge lengths are 1.96"x1.96", 1.96"x3.92", and 3.92"x3.92" standard lengths nearest to 5 mm and 10 mm dimensions. PCB fabrication services offered by vendors such as SeeedStudios [http://www.seeedstudio.com/service/index.php?r=site/pcbService] commonly base their pricing schemes off of max dimensions of 5 mm increments (e.g. 5x5 mm^2 (1.96")^2 and 10x10 mm^2 (3.92")^2).
