Fractional Pawns

Fractional Pawns

thingiverse

I've made this fractional pawns to learn and teach about division fraction. It's my own adaptation of a Montessori / Wild family (Equador) model from active schools. Each pawn represents a divisor, and we can use all four fractional divisors (form 1/1 to 1/4, b now), to understand what does it mean to "divide by a fraction", by manipulating this material. Useful for middle and high school, that's not a specifical activity, but a pedagogycal instrument useful to solve daily math problems.
