<p>I designed a horizontal mounting method that is frame mounted. This used a skate bearing (left over from all those fidget spinners) and simply sits on the frame. <br><br>I have used mine with 3 Kilo spools and have had no issues. <br><br>I have found its helpful to glue the screw thread as otherwise it might unscrew and the design is complemented perfectly by one of the many frame mounted filament guides (I did not want to recreate the wheel on that!) </p>
