Framework Mainboard Case with Separate Power Button
thingiverse
Draft modified version of the Framework Laptop Mainboard case with a separate power button instead of an embedded one. Based on STLs at https://github.com/FrameworkComputer/Mainboard, used under CC BY 4.0. Thank you, awesome Framework folks! The button in this revision is separate instead of printer as an integrated component. I thought the benefits would be: * less work to repair than an integrated button if the button breaks * less likely to cause problems between different filament types (less flexible ones) * easier to customize/remix - especially if you're like me and only have Blender - less topology to mess up - easier to print different colors - don't need to re-print the whole top case if you just want to swap the button The button is beveled to keep it from coming out the top of the case. There's also a version with a keyhole for designs where the button should not freely rotate.
With this file you will be able to print Framework Mainboard Case with Separate Power Button with your 3D printer.
