<p>This is a cap style point model for use with OpenTrack, FreeTrack, or FaceTrackNoIR. It is designed for external power, either via USB or a battery pack. Check out the Serial Build guide on the FreeTrack forums here: <a href="http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1856">http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1856</a></p> <p>PointModel dimensions are 80mm side to side (40mm from centerline), 60mm up, 90mm back.</p> <p>Design is based around 0.3mm layers for speed, but any layer height <=0.6mm should work fine.</p> <p>Print flat, trim and assemble as needed. Put some hot glue in the corners to stiffen it up and lock everything down, then wire up.</p> <p>I used some heatshrink around the LEDs to hold them in place after wiring, but hot glue would work fine - they're a pretty tight fit by hand to begin with, so they don't take much to stay stuck.</p> Category: Video Games
