French cleat for level picture frame hanging. Through hole added for a brad nail and glue to affix to frame's corners. 3/4x1/2" lumber with a 45 degree bevel routed and attached to the wall using a laser level. Now all picture frames are even and level. As our yearly family photos grow I just print out a new cleat, slide over some frames and space them out less.
