<p>French cleat is an organization system mostly used in workshops and made out of wood. A tapered cleat is mounted to a wall/closet/... The tapered counterpart, mounted to the organization equipment (holders, dispensers, ...), can than easily be hang to the cleat, reorganized or removed for whatever reasons.</p> <p>This is now a 3D printable french cleat system: print the cleat, mount it with the given hook (or design a hook suitable for your needs), print some wedges and add a given tool holder/dispenser or design your own one. There is a dxf file showing the distances for the mounts.<br/> The wedge is mounted with M4x20 head socket cap screws and M4 nuts to the organization equipment. The given hook is mounted with M4x12 and M4 nuts to the cleat</p> <p>The default cleat is 30cm long. This is too big for Prusa printers, so there is another one with 23cm width.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Print in the given orientation with ~20% infill, no supports needed.<br/> The holes in the cleat and the wedges may not come out perfect due to the overhangs, but they'll work just fine.</p>
