This is a design for a friction knife with no exposed fasteners I've been playing with. It's not really done, and it's certainly not printable. But if you've got time and a belt sander, you can make one.
Instructions
The blade is made of your favorite tool steel. I recommend D2.
The scales are 1/8" phenolic, and the spcaer is 3/32" phenolic. The liners are 1/64" stainless. The pins are 1/8" x 5/16" dowels, and the bushind is 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD x 3/32" thick.
Have fun, epoxy, and don't die.
