Frida Kahlo's four poster bed

As part of a collaborative project with Evavooo, I designed the famous "four poster bed" of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.  Due to a accident during her childhood, Frida was forced to spend most of the time in her bed where, thanks to a mirrored baldachin, she was able to create her amazing self portraits.  The project is based on her life story and includes the following pieces - Frida doll and clothing Mexican chair Frida's pet Spider monkey Mexican hanging pendants The design of the bed is based on one of her famous painting "The Dream" which features the artistic interpretation of her bed.   The bed is composed by 11 SUPPORT FREE parts, all designed to fit comfortably on any printbed and easy to assemble with some internal clip joints. It also includes some pendent decorations (a Mexican skeleton, a monkey and an angel) which can be easily hooked to the roof surface. For the lovers of detail I also added a quote of Frida underneath the mattress and a nice collection of butterflies under the roof.     The object is perfect not only for Frida Kahlo's fans but also for miniature enthusiasts, doll collectors or old fashioned furniture lovers.   It's been designed using Rhinoceros 3D and Zbrush.
