Fridge Door Handle Unbreakable Parametric

Fridge Door Handle Unbreakable Parametric

This is a simple and unbreakable replacement of a fridge door handle. I made the first design in FreeCAD. It is small and convenient. Pretty stable, hardly ever will it break, due to its optimal form. It hooks over the door edge to grab the door better. I also printed this for replacing the broken handle of our kitchen fridge. Serves great and weighs only 3.3g. It covers only one screw hole but we like it this way.

Later on I made a parametric, two-hole version in OpenSCAD, partly for self-education, partly for producing a "universal" solution that would fit any fridge door.

Print instructions

Printer brand: Prusa
Printer: i3 MK2S
Rafts: No
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.15mm
Infill: 5%
Filament_brand: any
Filament_color: white
Filament_material: PLA

Notes:
Although I printed only the small version, for the big one vertical position is recommended for strength, due to layer direction. Some brim may be added for stability.

If you applied brim, it should be removed (and the remaining sharp edges carved or sanded off).
