I have created a ball and socket to attach to a Standard Speed Linear Actuators SKU: 1002-SSLA available from Frightprops.com. http://www.frightprops.com/electric-motors/linear-actuators/linear-actuators-assemblies/standard-speed-linear-actuators.html This was made for a seance table prop. All said and done it will levitate the table from the bottom middle, and give the appearance of a floating table. The ball has a 20mm - 0.79" hole, and can attach to either end of the actuator. I also has a 6mm hole for securing. Travel is about 12 degrees in any direction. Ball: 49mm 20mmD x 17mm deep hole Socket: mounting flange- 86mm x 86 mm x 10 mm Ball socket- 62mm x 62mm x 40mm Overall height - 50mm Light sanding (120 grit) was required to smooth out the assembled operation. Total print time- both pieces - approx 4 hours on LOW I have added a video of the final build...
