UPDATE 15.11.2017 New type of ignition system ( bottom ignition only for best result in BB spread) Even more compact now New Pictures and video is on the way, stay tuned!! :) ______________________________________________________________________ UPDATE 07.11.2017 I was able to reduce the size of the Frag by almost 3 cm in length. that for I shortened the piston clamp arms, the Back-cover and main Body. ________________________________________________________________________ Airsoft shower greande " Frilled neck FRAG" new type of spingloaded Airsoft shower greande, Remember that one scene from the classic jurassic park movie, where that frilled neck dinosaur spits acid in somones face? Well the frilled neck FRAG does more or likely the same, just with less acid and more BBs ;) There is nothing like it on the market yet when it comes to the technical aspects of this airsoft grenade. The FRAG will only go off if the lower bottom hits the ground ( or Whatever surface it is thrown against). If the Frag drops down on the side the ignition ballbearing ball will not fall out between the two clamps. A few things are needed for this build: 1x 120x6mm aluminium pipe or rod 1x 160x10mm aluminium pipe ( NO ROD) with a inner diameter of at least 7mm or higher!) 1x 20mm washer with 8mm drilling 4x 45mm m4 hex slot screws 4x 35mm m4 hex slot screws ( if you printed the split base you need 80mm hex slot screws) 4x 18mm m3 cylinder head screw + nut 4x 40mm m3 hex slot screws 2x 35x2mm iron nail ( with cut off head) common standard AEG airsoft spring ( needs to be shortened to fit) 10mm iron ballbearing ball ( slingshot ammo) Ducttape, soldering iron ( for melting the flipping arm screws into the base) scalpel or stainless blade for cuttin the ducttape into shape. The 6mm pipe which runs along the middle of he main Body needs to be free floating, That means that the pipe is only fixed on the lower side of the FRAG. You can reach this by arching the pipe on one side, heat the arched end up a bit and press it back into the base with some force and glue or melt it into place. I used some pla filament heated it up with a lighter and " cemented" it in tight.
