Frodos' Dart Sword - The Hobbit - The Lord of the Rings

Dart is a fictional sword from the novel "The Lord of the Rings" written by J.R.R. Tolkien. It was made by the Noldor in Gondolin in the First Age of the Sun. It was saved from the destruction of Gondolin and the Flood of Beleriand by the servants of Morgoth. It had the quality that apart from having a blade capable of piercing a troll's hide when thrust with the strength of a hobbit, when orcs were near, its blade would turn a deep blue, warning its wielder of danger, like most of the swords of the Noldor. To the elves, it was a simple dagger, but it was the perfect size to serve as a hobbit's short sword. Sword length: 50cm.
