A little monster with a smile that will really let you question his ocular-less intentions towards you. Whew, OK, this took a wile to put together, my computer has most definitely not been stable. As you can see the visual concept is derived from poisonous frogs, toads, and my weird ideas of what a monster should look like. I decided to keep the shape simple, with as few extreme overhangs as possible, though skein forge's support creation works quite well where the troubled areas lie, Checked it in netfab to make sure it was clean, and re-sized it to fit within a 100x100 printing surface. I wish it had more on the technically innovative side of things rather than artistic, but this is where my strengths lie. Instructions Instructions : The model floats above the platform a bit because of the toes so you'll have to print with a raft and support. I'd suggest full support for the gap in the cheeks, and with how big the model is, 20% fill with a few walls for strength. I prefer the hex pattern. If you're printing at nearly a full 100mm x 100mm x 80mm on a T-o-M hopefully you have good enough settings to keep the layers from splitting. Additionally : You'll likely want to sand or carve down the stepped edges if youve made everything thick enough, or treat the surface with acetone to give a nice smooth base to paint over.
