Front Camera platform for Robo3D

thingiverse

This platform mounts directly to the front (or rear) bed support for the Robo3d. It uses the existing holes to attach and has a hole large enough to fit a ¼ x 20 tripod screw. Since almost all camera and webcams can be mounted on a tripod this will accept nearly all cameras made. The screws to hold this platform in place are M4. Replace the existing M4 screw that is used to tension the Y Axis belt with one that is 10 mm longer. Instructions Print this out with a minimum of 3 perimeters and 20% infill to make it stiff enough to prevent shaking. Once complete remove the exiting M4 screw holding the Y Axis tension block, use a screw that is 10 mm longer and replace the tension block and new screw in left hole. Using a M4 x 15 or 16 mm screw and nut on the opposite side affix it through the remaining mounting hole. Print this upside-down It can be printed without any support material. IGES and STEP Source files included if you want to remix this model.
