I've seen the light mounts and the fan mounts and ive seen the fan mount integrated into a carriage. But I didn't want to reprint a carriage and figured I could do both at once. I FITS well, but I used a lot of hot glue to keep it in place. A key feature of this is that it vents the fan upward to the insulator of the hot end, the airflow doesn't hit the heating block. I use this most excellent hot end: http://www.hotends.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=70 and the fan helps to keep the pla cool until the last cm and the light ring:http://www.dealextreme.com/p/2-25w-15-led-5050-smd-led-car-angel-eye-light-ring-58430 Instructions line it up so the angle is flush. glue in place. put the fan on, glue around the edges, the fan adds rigidity. put the light ring on.
