<h1> Internal Chassis </h1> <h2> BCIT - Undersea Laboratory </h2> <p>This is the Front IR Ring Mount for the BCIT Undersea Laboratory. It provides the system with an array of 12 controllable infrared LEDs for night vision, as well as 4 mounts that fit any of our external components.</p> <h3>Assembly</h3> <p>This model comes in 6 pieces and is assembled using M3 nuts and bolts. The assembled mount secures directly to a 3" x 12" high-pressure PETG tube via a hose clamp. Each component mount is secured by tightening 4 M3x16 bolts to the ring mount.</p> <h3>Parts List</h3> <ol> <li>M3x16 Bolt (x4)</li> <li>M3 Nut (x4)</li> <li>Stainless Steel Hose Clamp (x5)</li> </ol> <h3><b>Overview and Background</b></h3> <p>We are a team of 4 electrical engineering students building our graduating capstone project at The British Columbia Institute of Technology.</p> <p>The Undersea Laboratory is an open source, low-cost, data acquisition device designed to explore and analyze marine environments. The system is capable of live streaming HD video while giving the user complete control over the camera's pan and tilt mechanism, external lighting, and sensor data.</p>
