Front lens cap for Jupiter-11 4/135.

The Jupiter-11 F4 is a fantastic lens. In combination with a M42 to Canon-EF adapter you can use it with modern DSLR- or film cameras like the Canon, Blackmagic or RED. Since this camera stuff is super expencive, I decided to buy some sweet russian lenses on ebay. The lens designs of that UDSSR glases are captured by the russians from the german manufactuer ZEISS after WW2 as spoils of war. So the lens quality is nearly as good as the old Zeiss ones. But cheep as beans! They will go for about 30 to 50 Euro. It eaven look cool on a red camera or canon DSLR => like a futuristic laser gun! ;) The barrel buildquality is superb too. They are often cheep on purchase but not always complete. Mine came without the front cap. The quality of that old Jupiter lenses are compareable with modern midrange glases like a 85mm F1.8. It's even better than a usm 28-135mm Canon which costs 300 Euro.https://www.flickr.com/groups/1404446@N23/pool/ The usability on this thing is not easy. Its realy hard! You have to pic the focus manualy which needs a lot of patience. All adjustment rings are placed different compared to modern glases. so enough of my crap talk... , long story short: there it is. Don't leave it in the sun => It will melt. Post-Printing make it look nice. 1 clean it with a extractor knife 2 sand it off 3 spray it with paint 4 put it on your Jupiter-11 lens 5 Enjoy it
