Photos: by request, I have posted photos of a prototype print. This shows the intended order of standees in their slots (alphabetical order). Introduction: Now that Frosthaven Helper has been released, I see no reason to store all the FH monster stuff in the little ziplock bags where it takes 20 minutes to sift through and find any monsters that I need!! Therefore--like with Gloomhaven--I've made a custom organizing tray for all of the monster standees. Monster Ability Cards, Initiative Order Tokens, and ziplocks (not to mention monster stat cards/sleeves) have been made mostly obsolete by the app software, so they may be tucked away anywhere you like (i.e. in the bottom of a trunk in the attic). It might be wise to keep them SOMEWHERE, though, because some information seems to be only retained on them (for example, the persistent fly ability is not shown on the app, but you can find it on the monster stat cards next to the monster name). In my organizers, monsters go in alphabetical order starting at the top left. Similarly, all of the bosses go in the front, starting at the left in their own alphabetical order. I hope you enjoy my design! If you would like me to print one and mail it to you, message me directly and we can work something out. Thank you! Notes: - When printing, scale to exactly 10%. You may want to go slightly larger or smaller based on your printer's characteristics and settings. I printed mine on an FDM Anet A8 and everything fits perfectly. - As you can see, there are two halves so that this model may be produced by most hobby-sized printers. The gap is 0.3 mm when printed at 10%. Assemble with superglue (or whatever glue you prefer), but make 100% SURE that the glue is fully dry before putting in any standees! - Some standees are turned 90-degrees horizontal. Use common sense, and every single standee should stick out a standard distance above the top of the tray. - I've tried to offset the slots horizontally so you can see most of the monster groups, and grab them with your fingertips without too much difficulty. Compromises were made, and I hope that you still enjoy the design. - I've sized the tray to be 6" front-to-back, so it fits nested inside of the existing L-shaped "card well" (which came with the FH game). I keep both of them inside of the upside-down FH box cover during play for easy access. - There is no tray cover, I figure we don't really need one for this application. If you would like one, you're more than welcome to remix. - Generally, I've found that there is some risk that the standees will get damaged or delaminated by putting them in these narrow slots. It helps if you put a stack in a few at a time, and then slide in the last one smoothly BETWEEN the ones already in the tray, so no graphics are sliding against rough PLA/ABS (this also helps randomize the monster numbers, so synergy!). Anyway, use at your own risk.
