I used Keystone A, AA Battery Contact, Leaf Spring Contacts (https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/battery-holders-mounts/1725980/ & https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/battery-holders-mounts/1717800/) and a 2s balance lead(JST-XH 2.5mm 2-pin) wired in series. The tray fits snug and the cells make contact with the back cover, but that can't be avoided. ***WARNING!!!*** Don't be a muppet and put the cells in the wrong way. Li-ion cells are very volatile, so pay attention to polarity when you insert them. I have battery polarity stickers (https://www.stealthvape.co.uk/BATTERY-HOLDER-STICKERS-X10) inside just to make sure.
