Sinagua Petrolgyphs on basalt boulder Now located at the Visitor Center Red Rock State Park near Sedona, Arizona. This boulder was located in what is now the state park. It was removed and then returned a few years ago. The petroglyphs on the boulder were created by Sinagua pre-historic Native Americans who lived in the area from approximately 600CE to 1400CE. The park is normally open daily from 8am to 5pm. This model is part of an ongoing project to document “at risk” rock art.
