This Carbon fiber Wheel has been designed with a titanium core for the bolts and a 3 piece enclosure, it weights 1.52 Kg.Manufacturing process:1st: Fabricating the titanium inner core.2nd: Cover the 2 inner molds with prepreg carbon fiber.3th: Autoclave curing.4th: Extract the 2 CF pieces, insert the titanium inner core and cover with epoxi all contacts parts.5th: Insert lightweight material rings for the humps, cover the rim with prepreg carbon fiber (this will be the 3rd piece).6th: Autoclave curing.This wheel is under development, needs testing.
