The FliteTest Goblin is an awesome RC plane, but what makes it even more awesome is this 3D printed battery box. I got tired of the Velcro tearing away from the foam board, and this has eyelets for straps to hold the battery down while only adding 25g to the nose of the plane. You can compensate for the extra weight by pushing your battery closer to or further from the CG. You can mount the box with either the solid end towards the back or front depending on what battery you're using. I mounted the solid end to the front for rigidity. I'm running a 2200mah battery, so the battery sits almost perfectly aligned with the front edge of the box. The cheap roll of Velcro strapping was purchased from Harbor Freight. I've listed the print settings below, or you can use the included gcode file for Prusa based printers. I hope this little mod helps makes your Goblin experience even better. Happy flying!
