FT Sea Duck Hatch

FT Sea Duck Hatch

So after many flights with the FT Sea Duck, I noticed the hatch to access the battery compartment was looking a bit worn. Thus, the hatch. I designed it with small recesses to glue a couple pieces of metal (I used bit from an old razor blade). The other reason for designing this hatch was every time I would open the existing hatch, the battery was always very warm despite the easy flying. This hatch is NOT WATERPROOF so I would not recommend if you plan on keeping the Duck on the water. I didn't design in any hinges for it, instead you can just put some tape on the inside of the opening and the leading edge of the hatch and attach it that way. I will include a picture of how I mount it when I can. It took just an hour to print, and should be a quick cut, tape and close!
