A fairly simple thing to make, yet very effective, because it has valves on both ends moving the piston in either way will make the air flow. The flaps are usually made of leather or other thick fabric and the piston is covered with fur or other soft fabric that will help it slide easier thru the box. Plenty of youtube videos on the topic on making and using one, so i suggest looking in to it if you decide to make one.
