Fujifilm X-T20 and X-T10 Base Grip with Manfrotto RC2 QR Plate

Fujifilm X-T20 and X-T10 Base Grip with Manfrotto RC2 QR Plate

thingiverse

This is a base grip for FujiFilm X-T20 and X-T10 cameras. The grip is designed to allow a Manfrotto RC2 quick release plate to be permanently mounted to the camera while still allowing access to the battery and SD card compartment. By producing the design in 2 parts, it has allowed the QR plate to be mounted (almost) in line with the lens. An added bonus is that it changes your grip on the camera, moving your palm away from the Menu button cluster. The QR plate is also likely to wear, so the 2 part design means you only have to reprint the plate if it becomes damaged or worn. Please note that the design is based on a very specific Cap Head, Hex Socket machine screw instead of a standard tripod screw. I will be obtaining some standard tripod screws and amend the design in due course. You will also need 4 20mm M4 Pan Head machine screws and nuts to attach the QR plate to the base.
