<h3>TL;DR</h3><p>One layer to check the bed leveling of the hole bed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Full Print Bed</h3><p>This trivial models are useful to check and improve the leveling of your whole print bed. It is not a <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/251587-stress-free-first-layer-calibration-in-less-than-5">first layer calibration</a>.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Motivation</h3><p>During the work on the <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/285481-rack-enclosure-cheaper-and-stronger-than-everythin">enclosure project</a> &nbsp;the mk3 was moved several times and i recognized a change in print quality on the lower right corner.</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/303825/rich_content/48eafd95-e0a0-4170-999e-b2c6a1594e6e/qy8yyiyjtlm3fuolspqceq.jpeg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22067e23b3-769d-4333-93f8-d3c3361bcb40%22%2C%22w%22%3A939%2C%22h%22%3A1985%7D"></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Counting in 50x50 mm prusa print bed squares, the first left hand square and first and second right hand square are much to low.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/303825/rich_content/47817e41-e503-4467-9962-67936911f65a/20221027_170036-2022-10-27t15_05_20911.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22934d4cb8-da3c-41e7-adad-c47d122d12e1%22%2C%22w%22%3A2822%2C%22h%22%3A1908%7D"></figure><p>(left hand)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/303825/rich_content/27f2ad1f-2043-43b1-9909-a1faf17d6a37/20221027_170048-2022-10-27t15_04_12871.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22e9baf9ea-5898-406a-9ba0-46e3f1939ae5%22%2C%22w%22%3A2659%2C%22h%22%3A1850%7D"></figure><p>(right hand - much bigger)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Impact on prints</h3><p>That will create trouble with any print using this segments. Printing in a distance from that issue, in the middle of the print area, would still be fine.</p><p>Real big prints using the whole sheet will run into trouble.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>How to solve?</h3><p>We have two ways, the easy one is to use mesh bed leveling and correct that issue virtual on the software side. That is a proper build in way and will fix that problem quick and dirty.</p><p>But that would, as i know for now, not work with improved gcode using arcs. &nbsp; And also, knowing that the bed is not as good leveled as possibly will not work for me.</p><h3>&nbsp;</h3><h3>Nyloc</h3><p>I will add the nyloc mod to the mk3 and fix this issue where it happens.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>To be continued</h3><p><i>Using octopy to analyse the leveling and the nyloc upgrade (if we really like to call 8 nuts and 8 washers an upgrade). I guess this weekend is the time for that.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Naming of the STL</h3><p>Added not only the prusa but many other print bed formats for anyone, didn't increase the job, one file in freecad.</p><p>fpb-xxx-yyy.stl where xxx is mm X and yyy is mm Y axis of the <strong>f</strong>ull <strong>p</strong>rint <strong>b</strong>ed.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
