Full Size Optimus Prime Cos-Play Costume

Sorry for not posting sooner but i wanted to make this a big surprise. This Print is based off a Toy. The first Few Pictures are of the Toy so i could get some measurements for the Full Size Costume. This is my Full Size 6 foot tall Optimus Prime Costume for the next Comic-Con event. please expect to spend at least 300 to 400 hours printing this Costume. an about at least ten rolls of filament. Most parts are .4mm think layer down to .2mm layer depending on part and Support. You will have to adjust your printer according to your finish. This was done on Both my CoreXY Printers and my extra Larger Delta Printer. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2731724 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2718545 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2414471 And i adjusted the Z Axis down to 340mm per step to make the shell stronger but just a little shorter since this will be a costume and will have to endure 20 hours of wearing it. I only started printing this Costume less then 2 weeks ago, so it is a Print In Progress. Parts will be updated and removed as it progresses to the finish product, so expect parts to be added and removed. This will be my biggest 3d build up to date, my last 3d Build was my Dalek. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2576488 and even thou i only printed from the mid section up. All the parts listed here were printed hollow with a 2mm thick shell. The original pieces came from a 3d Printed Optimus Prime Toy I found on line and enlarged to 6 feet tall then hollowed out. Some parts are from that original toy but then some parts I changed to make the costume look like a newer Optimus Prime. You will need a Larger Printer to print these parts. Each part will take anywhere from 4 hours to print up to 20 hours to print. You can print these part on smaller Printers but expect to spend double the time printing this. I hope you enjoy this, as i had plenty of headaches along the way, but it is coming along just fine. Included in this is the Full Size Optimus Prime with 2 different heads, 3 different Swords, 2 different Gas tanks, 2 different Shoulders, And Optimus Primers Gen 1 Blaster and other parts from other Prime version that i though would look nice in full size. Every part in this is for a full size 6 foot tall Costume, Every piece has been split in 2 or 4 or even 8 parts so it can be printed on my extra large Printers. If you plan on printing these parts on a smaller printer then what i have listed in this description then you will have to split the pieces even smaller. 3-2-2018: I've just uploaded a Brand New Sword Of Judgment. I hope you like it. It was the best i can do with the software i had on hand. I've also uploaded some pictures of the completed Parts included Lower Legs and new Sword Of Vengeance. 4-6-2018: as of today i got done printing all the parts for this Costume with a total of 15 rolls of Filament and 430+ hours of printing. I will be putting it all together in the next few weeks and should have a finished product to show by end of April Beginning to Mid May of 2018. 6-4-2018: As of today I've added the finished Torso to the pictures. Next step will be to paint and put together. 6-12-2018: I've removed the 4 part Upper Weist stl file and left the whole Upper Weist stl, you will have to part this item for your needs. sorry for the problems with my STL Files. 7-1-2018: Update- Just got done with my latest Comic-Con and I have updated the Final Pictures of the Finished Optimus Prime. The complete Costume was so bulky that it was hard to walk around in, but I used a Swagtron Off rode Hover Board to get around. Hope you enjoy. I've also Added few more parts that I printed to complete Optimus Prime. On a different note, the total time to print all parts from start to Finish to more the 700 hours to print.
