Fume Extractor Inline Fan and HEPA Filter Holder

Fume Extractor Inline Fan and HEPA Filter Holder

To complete the fume extractor, I needed a way to make sure the air moved out of the hose efficiently. I wanted it to be inline, and have a HEPA filter to reduce particulate pollution. I also wanted the filter to be easy to replace without a lot of messing around, so I did reverse thread on the 3-4" adapter and that side of the filter holder. That way, you can rotate the filter holder and it will allow the fan and hose to remain stationary while it screws apart. Note that "Filastruder_fume_extractor_male_threaded_4_inch_duct_holder.stl" is the same model as from the Fume Extractor thing, and has not been changed. It's here only for convenience. You really only need one, but I printed a second one for the exhaust side of the fan for the debris shield, and in case I want to add something to that end later. All parts should print in the provided orientation with no supports needed, though a brim might not be a bad idea for a couple of them. Also, there is a sacrificial bridge in the screw holes of the filter holder p2 so that it can be printed without supports. Simply punch through it prior to assembly. BOM: - Filament, and a couple 12mm M3 screws and square nuts. - Print one of each part, except print two of the male threaded duct holder. - 4" HEPA filter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078GQ13RP - 4" duct inline booster fan: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072N332WT
