Fume Extractor v2

Be safe, protect your health, use Fume Extractor when soldering! This is version number two of my previous Power Bank powered Fume extractor. This time i am using 12V PSU and PWM control! Inside is Xbox One 12V fan but it will fit probably other fans too. If you have some fan which do not fit just edit attached Fusion 360 file. You can use up to two carbon filter for better air filtration. Just remove filter holders cut carbon filter to fit and place it inside. You can control speed of fan and check RPM on OLED display. When you are changing RPM with knob there is also some LED(Neopixel) animation to see level of PWM. There is also fan check if it is really spinning and if not there is loud beeping and Error animation with LED and OLED display. It is obvious that there is piezo buzzer inside as well:) It is designed to stack more units together if you need more fans in the row, driver board(electronics box with OLED, knob, etc.) is separated and will fit to fans cases. It will be probably better to use black screws but i did not have them. Easy print, no supports(some supports are included in model already). https://youtu.be/Jx6YQ2ic9w0 **************************** EDIT 07.12.2020 **************************** Added source file for Arduino IDE. It is written for Maple Mini boards(it will fit probably for STM32 MCU as well). Just change extension of source file from .txt to .ino and you are ready to go. You will need those libraries installed: Adafruit_GFX.h Adafruit_SSD1306_STM32.h WS2812B.h And for piezo sound: pitches.h (attached) Connection follow this from source file: LED_PIN PB1 // Build-in LED on PIN PB1 - maple mini FAN_PIN PA8 // PWM PIN for FAN speed control RPM_PIN PB12 // RPM FAN PIN pot_PIN PB0 // potentiometer PIN piezo PA0 RGB LED ring(WS2812b) connect to MOSI on SPI1: -> PA7 // MOSI on maple mini and connect OLED display to I2C1 pins(Maple Mini board): SDA - PB7 SCL - PB6 Prusa i3 MK3s 0.2 20 infill PLA
