OK, so I had my A1200 out being recapped, so I figured I would try and retrobright my keyboard... result? Keyboard soup. So, with my keycaps looking like squishy jello, I found inspiration to make this project. This keycap set was made for US NTSC A1200, but will fit other Amigas with the same key mechanism. But some specific or custom keycaps may be missing. The keycaps are based off a generic cherry keycap shape, and do not match the original Amiga keycap profile. They will provide you with a working keyboard if you need it. Notes: 1) These are designed to match one of the Mitsubishi key mechanisms. Please verify they match your keyboard before printing out a full set. 2) Both alt keys use the same file, so print 2 of them. 3) The Backspace is the same as the Left Cursor key, use the Left Cursor keycap to print the backspace. 4) I created an Open-A keycap, but I couldn't get my printer to print the key with a fillable gap. As an alternative, print another Closed-A key and fill the character with an alternate color. You will see this is what I did in my example pictures. 5) You will require the original stabilizer bars and springs/cups. ToDos: 1) Textured Keycaps for J, F and numpad 5 for touch-typing. 2) upgrade to match original Amiga Keycap profile. (this may be a separate project) 3) ??? Changes based off community feedback. Printed on: Creality Photon Resins used: Elgoo ABS-lIke Resin, White eSUN Hard and Tough ABS-Like Resin, HT Blue
