I modified the tape gun body to accept a small section of 6 inch hacksaw blade. with this modification the tape gun becomes fully functional. additionally supports are no longer needed Post-Printing you will need to cut a small section of a mini hacksaw blade and superglue it to the channel that has been added to the tape gun body. After gluing the blade, superglue the blade cap for aesthetics. Two different caps are provided a flat one, and, one with a 0.25mm indent. Because some blades are thicker than others just print the one that fits your blade the best NOTE: the tolerances for the nut are very tight i found scaling the nut to 102% on my printer made it possible to assemble. ALso as noted below, the screw threads are left HANDED. Recommended hacksaw blade: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Stanley-Hack-Saw-Blades-5-Pack-STHT14038/311326773 I found that cutting the hacksaw blade is easily done with a good pair of side cutters. ORIGINAL LISTING BELOW A mini tape gun for the Christmas elf in all of us. Print one of these and get to wrapping presents. This is a 3d printable version of a mini tape gun I had laying around. It holds the standard tape dispenser rolls. You know, the little 3/4" rolls that you use to wrap presents with at Christmas time. It prints in 4 parts with support and the little side piece that holds the roller on it simply pressed into place as the layer ridges seem to hold it in. But if that doesn't hold, a bit of super glue will fix it right up. Note: The screw threads are left handed because of the tape spool rotation direction. Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.28mm Wall 2 on all parts except drum 3 on drum Infill: 30%
