Funnel for 2 liter great for Filastruder / Filabot

1/7/2016 I added the STL files of the funnel with male threads for those who would like to use it straight on to their filastruder, as well as an optional coupler so you can use that same funnel put the coupler on it and use it like my modified one without printing out 2. Thanks goes to; MrWhat - Creator of the PET Soda Bottle Coupler http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:897760 Emancipator - Creator of the hopper adapter http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:890734 I took the funnel which I really liked, but wasn't going to work for my application, however I like the original idea of the funnel adapter that emancipator designed! I removed the inner wall, made it easier to print, and less plastic/print time. Added the coupler from the other source PET Soda Bottle Coupler and made a threaded funnel! So this way you can use the 2 liter bottles, fill them up with 2lbs and colorant, and cap them. Makes it much easier to fill the 2 liter bottles, and then you can tumble and shake to mix. You can then store them and if you like put desiccant bags in the 2 liter bottles until ready to use (working on an o-ring cap with a hook to attach a string to hold the desiccant or a cap that has a skinny cylinder to fit down the neck of the 2 liter that holds the desiccant either loosely or in packets. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .27 Or whatever blows your whistle Infill: 10% Notes: Obviously you want to print with the wide top down as oriented in the stl file. How I Designed This Took the funnel that "Emancipator" designed and removed the inner funnel area. Then took the coupler that MrWhat made, cut it in half and spliced them together. PRESTO, you have a threaded funnel! I use this to fill 2 liter or even 1 liter bottles and works great. Even has a second purpose, though it takes a little more time and is more tedious. If you want to separate colorant example if you added too much, the funnel holds a great static charge and attracts the colorant really well allowing the pla pellets to go down (I have only used this with balls of PLA from os3dp. It may not work with other non round pellets. It allowed me to successfully poor the bottles back and forth from one to the other and dump out the colorant that attracted to the funnel.. A lot better than pulling it out by hand lol.
