FURNITURE FACTORY HO SCALE

This FURNITURE FACTORY HO (1/87th) scale building main structure is a single print. It will take over 5 hours. The 20 windows and doors are designed to be glued smooth side to smooth side (back-to-back) to allow the criss-cross of the windows to print more easily without a lot of fuzzies to clean up. Paint the windows first and then they will fit precisely when placed from the inside to the outside. Press them firmly flat on the inside so they stick out from the board and batten siding. Depending on your printer, some components may require some minimum minor trimming. I exclusively print with PLA and have found that ordinary clear lacquer thinner (Nail polish remover) is a wonderful glue. Make a small test for yourself of two pieces of printed scrap PLA and give it a try. Let sit for 20 seconds and then try to break it apart. It leaves no residue and is applied with a small brush. I've been using lacquer thinner as a glue on stryene and PLA for years. No sloppy or messy glue to show when finished.
