In a furniture project, I needed a way to mount a front with no access from behind while still adjusting the position for alignment. I used them in this video: https://youtu.be/Rv1o5yWocP8?t=1063 and they work pretty well. They hold the front well in place, and you can still remove it quickly. Part 1 needs a screw through the cylindrical part to give it the required strength. Layer adhesion is not enough here.
