Furniture Spacer

Furniture Spacer

thingiverse

Quick and easy adaptable spacer to keep furniture away from your walls. This is great for protecting your paint or keeping things away from curtains or other wall obstacles. Print one **wall** and one **foot** piece, then print as many **spacer** pieces as you need for length. Each spacer piece adds **1 inch** to the length. Make as many assemblies as you need for your furniture. The **(-1)** and **(-2)** files loosen the fitment by an increasing amount in case the fitment is too snug based on the tolerances of your printer. Try printing a couple normal **spacer** pieces and check the fitment. Move to using the -1 or -2 based on your findings. The pieces should fit together, but snugly. This design is slim to be able to fit under the bracing of sectional sofas and allow robot vacuums to drive over it. The **AMF** files should work on modern slicers, but I can add **STL**s if these are problematic for people. I've also included the **RSDOC** file, as I used **DesignSpark Mechanical** to make this, in case you want to remix this in your own way.
