Cab was offered by Rustons to customers, as a optional extra for driver protection . These 3d printed plastic parts will fit on the Ruston class 16/20 loco that I publish in a previous release. The roof of the cad is made using 1mm thick plastic card . The roof nut retainer glues inside the cab underneath the side flanges . 8ba nuts and bolts where used to fix the roof on . The roof has to be detachable to get at the 6 fixings around the gear box .Parts glue together using supper glue . Printer settings first layer 0.2mm rest at 0.1mm ,bed 60degs C nozzle 212degs C all parts printed lying flat on bed.
