Made around 1933 onwards, near 7/8 scale, of 2foot gauge loco on 45 mm track. prototype fitted with RC and sound . Files for 2 and 3 slot buffers , exhaust not modelled as locos had different engines to suit customer's requirements. Forward and reverse leaver bent after printing flat , with hot iron. Gear change leaver made from steel bar , seat spring made from brass strip , chain drive uses meccano chain , motor worm is 1/4" dia brass with 16 tpi whitworth form cut deep to suit worm wheel gear, use narrow spur gear. Wheel and axle are sprung between frames then brass bearing bushes pressed in from the out side of frames fix with super glue , bushes are 5mm dia by 7mm long stepped bigger dia on the out side of frame for 1.5mm. These are bored to suit axle diameter , wheels and sprocket bored to suit axle dia . Printed in PLA and sprayed afterwards . printer settings first lay 0.2mm the rest at 0.1mm no support used . A very small amount of filler used on fuel tank to bring back to round shape bulk head side . Cab print files to follow soon , the cab was an optional extra for the customer who required driver weather protection .
